I parked my motorcycle next to her, get her a nice pat on the sunroof. And assured her that better times are coming, and that she will never have felt so good. ;)

Got off wastegate boost, found my limit before needing fuel control. Feels faster than BPU 9B's @ 15psi, only at 11psi!
Swapped out the leaking transfer case on the Stealth with one I rebuilt and started the VR4 for the first time this year.
Picked up the AWD 4 Piston Calipers for 20$ today.
Started it, let it idle, blipped the throttle to blow the junk out, shut it off.
I went uptown last night in the minivan and cried because i want my transfer case back from the shop
FIXED MY BRAKES!
Replaced my wheel bearings last friday, put everything back together and had really really bad brake shudder, checked everything, runouts were good, I couldnt figure it out. I said F it and ordered up 2 new rotor rings from Philip at Supercar Engineering and they came in, replaced the rotor rings, cleaned everything, loctite'd the fasteners, torqued SAT, NO MORE SHAKING!! Bedded the new rotors just fine, I have a lapping day on Tuesday and I could not be happier with my car.
they came of a 92 Stealth AWD.

Changed out my battery.. my vr4 had a Die Hard Gold in it from 2005. As far as I am concerned it was a great battery but after some research I went with a Duralast Gold. Great price, warranty, CCA and its made right here in my home town of Kansas City.

I just changed out my passenger side door glass with a cleaner replacement piece...My old one had a severe scratch right in my line of view. Now it's just time to continue collecting parts for the transmission overhaul.
Started smoothing out the intake plenum
I spent a good amount of the day getting my wideband installed and wired into the sm3. I get everything hooked up and the wideband won't connect to the laptop. Im pretty sure it's because of the usb-serial adapter our the drivers. So I'm pretty mad. I guess i'll post this in the what pissed you off today thread too.
Finished redoing the stereo wiring again while adding the sub. Installed the new carpet along with most of the interior.

I wanna gooooooooooooooooooooooo. Can't wait for the next track day here I'm ready to let the beast loose on my n\a. I wanna try and have my coilovers by then.
Yes please!
So far today I've pulled the motor/tranny out of the SL, and also pulled all the parts necessary to 5-spd convert the Stealth, which the engine/tranny is going into. Later today I will prep the Stealth for the 5-spd parts, and make some headway on getting the parts in.
sounds good Twisted!
I've located the rest of my burnt dimmer switch wiring in the dash harness. Goes all the way to the fuse box :(
The amp and sub installed.

Here's the new panel with no washer nozzle. Plus, it's not all faded and cracking like old one.

Hid all wires going to the rear under the rear speaker panels.

The seats in with the new floor mats and wheel and airbag. I also replaced the lexan covering the gauges. Amazing the difference that little thing makes.

Installed the new door panels as well. The old ones were bubbling and were all charcoal. At some point that beige section will be covered with suede.

nice speaker grilles. those look a lot like what i used to have in mine. :) pioneer speakers?
The grills are just factory grills with the webbing cut out. The speakers are Focal 650kf components.
yep. factory with the web removed. :)
Today (okay, yesterday) I got this delivery:

Unfortunately it had a leaky vehicle above it:

After washing it 2.5 times (whole car twice and front end three times), it now looks much better:

Took it for a ride.
Fired right up, ran smooth, and even shifted nicely considering the transmission case is probably empty.
Only issue was some brake shudder. Might just be from something packed around the rotors from it sitting.
Nine months off the road, the GTO started right up. So happy she's back on the road. Now needs a savage wash and a drivers side window. :woohoo:
Scotty
Repainted the trunk hatch trim and bumper trim.
Been out of town since Thursday and won't be back till Fridayish. First thing I'm gonna do is wash and wax and o on a nice drive if weather permits.
Installed Fresh pads and resurfaced my rotors and now I have a brake shimmy...so I get to do it all again tomorrow
last nite I've installed oil catch can. by my car doesn't really run yet. ;)
Did this to my MAF cus I'm running MAP and no longer need the MAF to work.

That's unfortunate, there are quite a few people in Australia that I suspect need replacement MAF's...and there are quite a few dead MAF's floating around that could have been shipped to you :p
in other news I'm in ipswitch for the next few weeks so you should pop down and show off your car :)
your a good man.
look at it this way...your eventually moving to melbourne so it's just a stop off on the way down:)
about to buy a bunch of fun stuff for the SL, Cleaned up the garage a little. got the "Special" corner all nice and orginized...sorta. got my 6G72 stripped down completely and is ready to be sent off to the machine shop to be machined, bathed, and re-assembled\rebuilt along with a new set of pistons.

Our Intercoolers, my Roomates Cyclone 4G63 with his 30$ borger turbo, a a portion of our large turbo collection. these are the fully assembled\non blown ones. a couple 14B's, a 15G, and a T25, oh and my big ass calipers that are forcing me to find some bigger rims for my 3000gt so i can install them.
Getting my two other 15G's ready to be sent off to be ported and rebuilt by the Lovely Jeff at Turbo Auto. car's gonna be fun to drive. more so then it already is.
deleted the ps cooler, moved my horns, made new brackets and move my fmic back 1.5inches so i wouldnt have to cut my new bumper but, in doing so had to cut the ic pipes and thro on some couplers. i turnd the fmic around so all the fins are new for the new bumper. added new black satin fenders and bumper(pulled sideskirts to do). relocated my active areo motor so my rear fin would still work. added my jackhammer made front crash bar.
