Seeing an American bald eagle in the wild is pretty awesome, however they are not really the majestic creatures they are made out to be. They are dirty, vile creatures that will hang out around dumps and get scared away by ravens.

Truth they are mostly scavengers/oportunistic. We should have taken the Golden Eagle instead!

We've actually got quite a few around here and they are typically ripping live ducks in half. I would not want to tangle with those talons.
