Oh no! What happened?

Maybe simplify the setup a little this time so you can drive the car a little more to enjoy it before going all out?
The mids and tweeters look nice. I have some Apline speakers and headunit in my car but it needs some audio updating for sure. I'd like to go with a component setup.
Had the cruise on, noticed a small bucking feel, then it couldn't maintain speed up a hill. Pulled over at the top of the hill and knock knock knock. Running super rough and way low on power. Also doesn't want to start.
Edit: In case some of you know about my 95 build, I have 2 Stealths and it was the 92. The motor for the 95 better not have a spun bearing considering it's still at the shop :lo5l:
With these engines, you never know :P
And today my crank arrived, Eastwood finally agreed to send me a new powdercoat gun, got the money out for the 13Ts, sold my old rear bumper and cylinder heads.
Taking the crank to the shop tomorrow. Will need a quick polish. Still no idea what the cost is going to be for this crap. Hopefully won't break the bank.
I don't know if you know this, but you're only digging the hole deeper by keeping it. This relationship you have with your car isn't one where you get your money back out of it when you're done. It's one where you have to cut your losses and take value in the experience.
^He's right on the money. Look at what you would lose by selling it, versus what it's going to cost you to repurchase all those parts again plus when it goes wrong again. You're not going to get money back out of these, certainly not anytime soon. So unless you plan on sitting on it for 30 or 40 years, you're unlikely to see it seriously appreciate in value. If it's running, sell it now. If it's not, do the bare minimum to get it running and then sell it.
From what i read. douchebag talk imo
Here ya go 2fnloud :)
The drivers side just barely touches the dash. I couldve sanded down the speaker pod, but there wasnt enough pressure to cause any issues. Im not concerned at all.

The passenger side is fine.

Damn, that last pic really shows the sawdust LOL.. I better take care of that.
I am debating about mounting my mid-bass driver like this. But am really going for a Stealth install (see what I did there )
That missing tab that is a different angle (that aligns with the dash) almost doesn't look missing with the door closed.
You should do some measuring and test fitting. You may actually like the setup. I know for a fact that I love mine. Theres a night and day difference between my stock mids and these AAs. They honestly dont even compare. What mids are you running now?
Are you referring to the screw on the drivers door? If I get a new screw, then the speaker's mounting ring might not even touch the dash anymore.
What I will be using:
Eclipse SC8365 6-1/2" 3-way Component System (SC-8365)
Not directly related to the car per-se, but I got the ball rolling on some parts from Cherry Hill that I've been waiting on for a while...turns out the one hose I ordered is back-ordered till June, so Mike shipped the rest of my order 2-day express today...one more reason I'll always continue to get my OEM needs (for the most part) from them!!

I got my order in from Cherry Hill (thanks again, Mike!!) and got a little sidetracked while figuring out what else I could electroplate since I had a couple things ready for it...I decided to do my thermostat housing bolts and while I was at it, I may as well do some more polishing to clean things up a bit.

Went to replace passenger side SMIC and realized the guy sold me a DS SMIC, realized that what I thought was leaking oil cooler lines may not be, saw that my coilovers decided to adjust themselves AGAIN, dad was too busy to help me make new oil cooler lines/swap AC compressor bearings, etc. Crappy weekend car wise :(
Oh and just had a terrible set of tests last week and got my bill for 1 stitch I needed - $600.
made some fancy adjustments on it. re-did the ignition timing, and added boost for more umph. 15 psi, no knock. stock fuel. injectors almost maxed. need 450's and install my 255.
Wrecked it.

Still waiting for the block to get done, so all I did today was go out there and try to get up as much of the water out of the trunk area as I could. Leaks pretty bad when it rains.
