A sobering lesson in what happens when you don't follow the laws of supply and demand. Sad thing is, some of this could be easily averted if--say--Pugeot, Renault, etc all decided to crash test some of their more interesting/appealing cars for DOT standards & then sell them stateside. I for one would be in line for a Wind or an RCZ. There's far too many boring sedans and unimaginative coupes in the US market.
