Good article. Off base on a few items, but overall pretty good. I'm unsure of why Pat Miller was called a noobie, he was the starter last year. He's the #1 player in my hate-dar week-in, week-out, though. He always finds a way to screw up. Though he did have an excellent Orange Bowl. Broderick Jenkins the other one referred to as a noobie, stepped in for Pat Miller and did a phenomenal job. All in all, I'm glad this defense is being looked down upon; they thrive in that situation. They're going to allow a lot of big plays, no doubt, but they're going to make up for it in turnovers.

Ivan McCartney is not even really in the mix as a receiver. His head isn't straight, and he's always hurt. JD Woods will start over McCartney. Jordan Thompson, a true freshman is going to turn a lot of heads. This kid is Tavon Austin the 2nd. He's one to watch.

Downplaying out o-line by saying they don't really have to do much is a mistake. Our o-line will be one of the best corps in the Country.

The one thing most everyone does not realize is we had significant injuries last year, with almost no depth. That's why we got raped by Cuse, and fell to L'ville. When everyone was healthy, ala the Orange Bowl, the 1st glimpse of what we were capable of was finally seen.

Dustin Garrison is also not the #2 back, Andrew Buie is. That may change through the season, but the depth chart is Buie at #2 as of Monday.

The offense will perform every week this year. These guys are vets, confident, and in year 2 of the Holgy offense.

Bummer that he didn't sufficiently research your team. I was expecting better from Scipio.

I wouldn't expect anyone outside of our system to know all the ins and outs. It's no big deal, he still did a pretty dang good job. I breathe this stuff, as much as he does all things UT. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed the defining of redneck and hillbilly. He pretty much nailed that one, lol. And Scipio's stuff is always well written with excellent anecdotes. Can't go wrong reading his blogs. :D

BC is a great resource for Texas practice reports, post-game analysis and recruiting news. Do you pay for your Auburn info or are similar free sites available?

I do not pay for my info. I've found some good sources of information that are free and of comparatively higher quality.

Here's some heart-warming news for the week. Shon Coleman, our star offensive lineman of the class of 2010 who was diagnosed with cancer right after Signing Day, is the 2nd string left tackle on the depth chart this year as a RS Freshman.

In other news, our 1st string center was arrested for public intox this weekend, so we have to move up another inexperienced lineman into our starting ranks. Somehow this team feels just as young as it was last year.
