lol, I know. I told you I was being nit-picky. It's the wording that bothers me. You can't compare weights. It's like saying 1lb of feathers weigh more than a pound of rocks. In actuality, they both weight the same!;)

No, that's what the measuring tape says. I can take a pic if there are doubts. If you say you wear 44 in pants, measure your waist above the pants line and you'll see it's significantly larger. Only those blessed with completely flat abs would have a pants line size close to their belly button size. Or, if you wore your pants up around the navel, then, yes, the size would be close.
This is subjective and all relative to body types as we are seeing. http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lg...c13do1_500.png
IMHO, the overall goal isn't just weight loss but fitness; ability to function; ergo bench your own weight x amount of times, carry the wife around the house a bit, etc.
You dudes under 200#s simply need to move it around as you are implying.
Also regular exercise is awesome stress relief...you get natural endorphins from a good pump...you guys need to do it after reading an AO post for motivation :lo5l:
Yea - fat asses like us need to burn more than we intake ;)
My program is gym 3+ times a week; lifting and cardio: cardio is run, walk, bike, punching bag, etc.
Cutting down carbohydrates; less rice more protein, early in meal, gets you fuller sooner and more steady energy levels throughout day (digests longer).
Water first...and more often.
Not cutting out anything; ie enjoying chocolates, beer and other favorites just more sparingly.
I'm 5'8 and 150, 31" waist.
