If you added yellow, yeah. Otherwise youre getting dark purple.

New fogs :)
Rear precat delete came in. The holes are slightly off and need to come inwards a little, so I'm filing/drilling them to fit.

I wouldnt touch it. Id call 3sx and be like wtf ur shit is shit.
To be fair they are selling it at a big discount and disclosing it needs work
I talked about it to myself in my head.
I took the Villains, that I had stored in there, out in preparation of getting it into the garage. I also spent several hours getting the garage in a little better shape to make it easier to work in. If there still wasn't some of my brother's crap in there I could have it even better.
i told her that if she doesn't win COTM, that i'm definitely selling her.
Got some used kyb g2's for the rear. They were silver and a little scuffed up. Painted them gloss black with caliper paint. Turned out pretty well I think.

Trying something new with these shock boots. I'm very pleased with these over the oem ones so far. Fit the bottom perfectly. Haven't tried attaching to the upper mounts yet, but I'm sure I'll make it work.

I was looking for something completely unrelated on eBay a quick spool valve and somehow came across a TD04HL 9-blade turbine wheel. Mitsubishi TD04HL Turbine Wheel 9 Blades Spool faster.
I thought it was kind of interesting. Dan can't get the 9-blade wheels for my turbos anymore unless he were to find another supplier that was easy to work with plus I doubt it would go anywhere unless that was the chosen hotside from here on out. Compared to what is in the turbo the Kinugawa has thinner blades and the inclination angle is steeper. I'm not sure how well it would hold up. It might be an option for TD04HL guys if you want some more top end flow though.
Wonder if they are the old Kado dynamics with a new name

It really is easy fix.... if I could just find my drill
hand file was taking forever, lol
It's just the 2 sides are a little too far out. Long ends are good, but other 2 need to come in a hair. I can post a pic later if that doesn't make sense.
Also, on the other end that connects to downpipe, one of the holes are threaded at a slight angle, so I have to do the same to my downpipe, lol. Or just not use that stud. I think you technically only need 2, since most downpipes only have 2 bolt holes. Mine happens to have 4, so I will probably use all 4.
They are the same thing. Kando Dynamics sell Kinugawa turbos and parts.
Kinugawa pictures in the Kando ebay ads.

What a piece of junk lol. $65 is still too much for a bad product from china imo
What? No. its Chinese junk That doesnt fit right and should be priced accordingly since they are to damn lazy/cheap/greedy to have quality ones made.. i dont put 3sx parts on my car no matter how cheap. It seems like well of half of their products theses days say "we are sorry but this shit wasnt made right or doesnt fit the way it should and or has multiple other flaws but were gonna sell it anyways"
even the dn precats are somewhat challenging to tighten a few bolts on.
I'm probably going to order the 3SX precat as well as the poly inserts and a couple more things.
Yeah there's one bolt on each precat I can't get to. The front I have to remove the radiator to get a wrench in there to take it off. The rear I have to take the turbo and pre-cat out as one since the firewall is in the way. I've never had problems not getting them off but it has been a pain.
I'll soon be getting the rear engine mount fastened down & should have the replacement rear turbo back on & the rest of the exhaust hooked up...That is provided everything works as it should.
Just about when I was about to give up on these injectors I got medieval with the tune and *may* have solved my warm start issue. It is not perfect yet, but WAY ahead of what I had. It is not a really easy problem to solve as the you have to let the car sit an hour every time you make a change to test it.
FYI I reduce a lot of the start up tables (as I had been doing all along), but the thing that made the biggest difference was to take a lot of injector latency out of the 11.7 volt range (hence leaning out that range), which is a lot closer to cranking voltage than the 14 row.
If the car will start with a little throttle it is being flooded. If it just takes a little throttle it may only be 10-20% too rich there to start without flooding. With these big injectors it is a ton more sensitive to this than the smaller ones I have used.
Rear precat delete fixed. I used a 29/64 drill bit, but could possibly be done with hand file if you have patience. Holes just needed to come inward a little. Circled holes I had to enlarge.

Beautiful wing.
installed new lifters. PITA.... killed my back hanging over the car for so long trying to get those buggers out.
doing work on a 3s changing lifters, cat's, turbos motormounts etc. you're doing yourself huge favour if you can lift your engine out of your car for those jobs I belive...
Drove it friday and saturday. Just 20 psi and pump but the street tires keep it exciting lol.
In all fairness, it had an owner when it followed me home...on my trailer :D
But, this was the in-car subject for the output shaft swap thread, until the status of said transmission became more clear and the current owner is deciding where his limits are
Put all the stock lights and center garnish back on, took pics to list it for sale...
O rly?
