I think this is the right thread to post my weekend demotivator. My mother-in-law's kitchen floor boards had rotted out from a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. Turned out that not just the floor boards were rotted. I ended up pulling all of the beams and essentially rebuilding the entire kitchen floor. So, I tore it down to this.........

And after 36 straight hours of working (only had the weekend to knock it out) this is what I ended up with.

Just need to lay down some tile, stain the new cabinets, paint around the splash board, and eventually replace the upper cupboards.
BTW, I have zero construction experience. Sort of just winged it, I'd say I did alright and it only cost her around $800 including the cabinets and new counter tops.
