Ha, I suppose they do sound similar in the beginning. Rossington Collins (formed from the remaining members of Skynyrd after the plane crash) was around well before White Lion.

Absolutely true. I just enjoy tracing the influences of some bands. Def Leppard was heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin.
Wow, blast from the past with Ricky Nelson, and Outlaws. I think my parents wore the Ricky Nelson LP out...
I can't lie. I do like some dubstep. Biggest problem with it, imho, is that it seems like any 1 artist has about 1 good song. Maybe. And if you listen to more than a couple of that artist's songs, you really start to hear the same kind of harmonics and tonal interplay. So I end up having to scout different artists to hear songs that aren't like the rest of the dubstep I already have in my playlist.
I can see that unfortunately.

THIS one has been on my "i can't find this song" list forever. Finally found it while watching a movie the other day. Shazaam doesn't really help when all you have is snippits & noise that drowns it out, but google-fu works. :)

Devin Townsend in his Strapping days. Love this song for some reason.
