Started dropping the rear subframe for reconditioning and to install a new steering pump. The brake and steering lines are my only obstacle at this point. Got 'em soaking in PB Blaster.
Drove to work due to the truck is in the shop...
Got surrounded by mustangs on the way home. I think they where Mares due to the lack of balls!
Found out which wire I need to ground to dim my gauges with the stock switch. Went to test it to make sure the gauges maintain power during cranking anddddddd no start. It has 11.5 volts before cranking according to the sm3. Key on works, Ac, stereo works, just nothing when I try to crank. Just a relay clicking on the DS footwell. I was so close to being happy tonight then the GT ruins everything.
Check nuetral safety switch, and theres a small tab on starter, often gets knocked loose on mitsubishi's...check that too.
Re-assembled my interior.
Unplugged ECS computer, now about to remove caps as well. ECS is left in sport mode....
Installed my 3 inch test pipe yesterday...didn't have gaskets laying around like i thought i did, so got some today and i am about to install them so no more nasty leaky ness.
Topped off the coolant and took it for a test drive with the new speedo gear installed. Up to 50mph its spot on with my GPS and i'll let you know when i get to freeway speeds.
So at 70-80 the speedo reads 1mph faster than my GPS. If you have a car with the old speedo gear I HIGHLY recommend replacing it with the newer one.
Put new oil in the car, No spun bearing.
