I have reviewed the forum policies. I have had vr4’s for over 15 years and have been to two National Gatherings and multiple upper Midwest gatherings. I have a 93 VR4 converted to 99 with many Cianci body parts. Also have shelves full of 3S parts, stock and aftermarket.
Thank you, Scott Schultz

I'm going to be picking up a 93 VR4 soon and I'm excited to get started on it. Its been sitting for about a decade so its going to need a lot of work but its got a few aftermarket goodies and has around 103k miles. Decided to join up here to start learning the ins and outs of the 3000gt. I'm fairly knowledgeable with car repair but I know every car has its quirks and things you have to look out for.
Thanks,
Tyler

Hello from France,
I'm owner of a European 93 3000GT TT. I'm not what can be called a mechanic but I learned a lot since I bought it 5 years ago.
Daily software developer and electronic enthusiast, I have created a custom electronic boost controller and have many more projects under the hoods, and maybe one day I will finish them !
Thanks for the video it's both useful and funny. My name's Ron and I've been a fan of the 3S platform since 2008 when I bought my first one while living in Japan(91 GTO Z16A). I have been the owner of a 1991 3000gt VR4 since 2015 and have many plans and aspirations to make this vehicle a one of a kind. Looking forward to being a member of the community.

Hello to the site and peeps here! I recently came back to the 3S world after a break of 20yrs. The desire to own a 3S never seems to fade, now I have 2, 96VR4 and 99SOHC.
Thanks for the add all! Just picked up a 3000GT VR4. Excited to be here.
Greetings all. It was fun discovering the sense-of-humor membership prerequisite for this valuable forum. Then again, a sense of humor is also an ownership prerequisite for any 3SGTO owner. I stopped taking my ’95 VR4 Spyder too seriously years ago. Grateful she’s still alive and continues to treat me as well as I treat her. Always more to learn and will contribute here if and when I can. Permission to come aboard, captain Alan.
Holy shit - new blood.
Set the hook, Alan.
Welcome, Paul. :)
Greetings from Chicago, owned a 3/S since 2006
Hello All,
My name is Jeff. I own a 1993 Stealth turbo. Have owned it about 10 years now. Purchased it from my Brother who was first owner. Clean with 80,000 miles. Track it so have made many Mod's over the years. Engine and drive train stock. Current project is tuning and or more precisely just trying to read Chrome ECU and save it and read live data. Progress on this project is downloaded EvoScan, downloaded Chrome V2 - tuner license, EcuFlash, and a couple programs that I was told I needed along the way on some sites. I have been able to read Kernel address in EcuFlash. Things I need to do yet that I am aware of are find and work with the 3 files that include Chrome Rom .bin file, the ROM.XML file and the definition file for EVOScan. Don't have the EFI 3000GT file on EVOScan. Plan on upgrading tubos and other necessary components. Had my car at The Performance Factory last year but due to closure cant get any more help there. Joined this Forum to seek information on my project and help others if I can. I am new to Forums and limited knowledge to computer programing.

Hello, I have a load of 3S cars (2 VR4's, etc.), a couple of DSM GST Spyders, and am on "that other site" since 2001. Thought I had an account here already, but it may have been purged from being inactive for years. Thank you.
Hello! I'm pretty sure I joined long ago but never posted on this forum. I've recently decided to start working on my 91 TT Stealth again after its been sitting for over 7 years. Time to bring it back to life. I'm going to attempt to degree the motor this go around so I'm here for Chris's how-to guide.
Hello! I owned my 1st vr4 in 2004. It was a 92 and burgundy in color. It got in an accident around 2006. i sold it to a guy after i bought it back from the insurance company. A short while ago i ran into a guy who told me they guy i sold my car to 15 years ago still had it. I did some PI work and found him, well it turned out he sold it 3 years ago and didn't have any of the contact info of the guy he sold it to. But trying to find my original car has lit a fire in me to own one again.
I'm not new to the platform, the first VR4 in the family after owning several DSM's AWD and FWD turbo variants. looking for SE.DSM like nostalgia here. Glad to be a member.
Hey from New Zealand! Working on a project utilizing a NA 6g72. Plan to twin-turbo it in an old Galant that I picked up for a grand lol. Originally had a galant as my first car with the NA 4g63 - have been driving round aussie muscle V8s and jap utes since - never ventured near anything like this so lets see how I go - cheers
Hey all! Bought my 95 SL about 3 years ago. Transmission blew out and have been doing the Auto to Manual conversion. Looking at google, this forum seems to have a lot of knowledge that would be really helpful. Can't wait to finish this project and turn my eye towards the turbo conversion. Looks like I'll be here quite a bit.
I have 1995 R/TTT. And have had it since new. All work and mods I have done myself. I'm no mechanic. Most of what I have learned is from reading forums. Now I'm tuning car for E-85. And it not working out. So why it's cold out, I need to do some reading. I did not want to post or reply. But had to for rest of forum will be open for me to search. THANKYOU for resources. Have A good day.
Hello everyone! I own a 95 vr4, love to ride it. I park it in the garage of my property in Spain and probably soon I will need to change location. Want to move closer to the sea.
Sup y'all. I have an automatic 97 base. It's my daily, but I've been looking to make small upgrades to make it look cleaner. I am in the San Diego, CA area for college, but I'm originally from San Jose, CA.
Just bought my dream car!

Hi my name is Josh. I just recently joined in hopes to learn more about these cars. I own a 92 SL for about 2 years and hopping to restore and properly manual swap the vehicle.
Just bought a R/T TT. Been reading these forums, lots of great info
Hi. I am new to the 3000GTO world, having just bought an 11/97 GTO in Dec 22. I have a number of other older Japanese cars and bikes and live in south-east of Australia, about an hour west of Melbourne. I have been impressed with the knowledge I am finding in various US-based forums and think that will be very helpfull for me, as I am mechanically minded, but there were VERY few of these cars sold here - officially, 117! There are now many more imports, like mine, but still trivial numbers compared to the US.
Looking forward to digging into the knowledge.

Hello All,
