I was very impressed with mine. The only thing I didn’t like was the V band, it didn’t fit right. Looks like they did away with it and lowered the price. Win win IMHO

Actually they still have the V band. At first I installed it and didnt like its position, it could hit the tunnel, so I went to loosen it and SNAP, the damn bolt broke. Sucked because its kind of a special setup. I had to rig up a new bolt system for it. And the silencers were a bitch to get out, they fit kinda tight with nothing to really grab on too.
Other than that I am pretty happy with it. I might need to bend some of the hangers a little too, I think its too tight because I can feel the vibration of the exhaust a little.
All the ones I've seen lately didn't have it. I believe you can get the exhaust to fit better with that joint there but the clamp is just shit. It wouldn't clamp both sides of the lip so it just pushed the pipes so they weren’t aligned. I had to pull the crap out and put the exhaust and clamp in a vice to force it together correctly. PITA!
Realized that Paul asked for more pics of my buddy's car earlier, so here they are.

We still need to PC the calipers to match the green and I'm always on him to get a new set of wheels, but he'll be shipping out for Bahrain in April so we'll see how much we get done.
Made a build thread and thought about it lol.
Like it as well
Funny thing is I was thinking of using that same combination except the hoop, I hate the hoop.
I spent about 4 hours digging my dd out of the snow and clearing the driveway.
Oouch!
DK was his car at jacks transmissions about a year ago? i think that was there when jack was putting my billet transfer case together
swapped the instrument cluster i got from erron. did see some ps fluid on the ground? when i have time will see what happened? gonna change the oil too when i get some time, and recheck all fluids and connections.
Finally hooked up my front washers. Only took me 2 years :P

Yes Sin, that VR4 has been at Jack's on multiple occasions. Once for a transmission install (probably when you saw it) and more recently for an engine install.
Put it together
removed more of the interior
Ordered more parts.
Yesterday I made progress!

Today, I can't wait to get back into garage!
yummy.
Painted the trans, rear vc and thermostat housing/neck the same silver engine paint. It turned out great. Had some stains on the trans that bothered me.
Looks like you left the O2 housings and/or DP to be modified on the car?
O2 housings were on during install (just mostly hidden in photos). My dp was already modified when I first put the 6g74 in. Everything should just bolt up easily this round:D. I do have to mess with the rear comp housing clocking a little more. Fit of my intercooler piping is not as good with the taller deck and I'm trying to tweak it. Could use a dual pass radiator for better fit up front too...trying to find a used one for sale.
You can get generic aluminum dual cores for like $100 shipped.
I've actually thought about finding a radiator to fit that has the radiator cap/fill neck on the radiator.
For one just to try something different. And also I always end up making a mess on the coil pack and trans and everything else lol.
While searching through the wiring of my car, I found a switch..........turns out it was the magical RWD switch!!!!!!!

I'll give you 5 bucks if you tell me where that switch is. lol
Called the machine shop to see what the ransom was to be, but they still are holding hostage!
Man I have to stay out of this thread.
Too many great ideas!
I'll never get done with mine if I keep hanging out here.
Installed new IAC from ninja...
And attached a few more parts...

ABM, I was disappointed by that video. Not disappointed because you got it working, but because I was expecting a burnout video LOL
I went from this:

Now I just need to finish polishing the front & sand/polish the rear & they'll be ready for some translucent/candy red powder!!
