i dont know how much you know about painting cars but your statment about waxing it to keep it protected isnt true. you have to wait 6 months to wax it and should only do it once a year

where did you get this? My body shop said I could wax right away.

If they cure the paint in an oven you don't have to worry about waiting.

my dad is a ase body man and owned a shop for 8 years. yes if they cure it thats true but macoo wont cure it trust me

or you could just NOT CHEAP OUT on paint & get a quality shop to do it with paint that's durable--as well as having them add a tough clear-coat that will withstand a lot of punishment. and add a 3m clear bra.

you get what you pay for.

Not everyone can afford a 6000$ paintjob. Let alone wants to. I am doing mine myself us be amazed the relation between automotive paints and concrete top coats. Plus I have some auto paint experience.

if you want to change the car's color, and do it RIGHT, you're looking at a minimum of 4 grand--assuming someone else is doing all the work. MINIMUM. if you want to do all the prep, and someone's cutting you a great deal on paint/labor--then i suppose you can hack the price down considerably. still...you get what you pay for. i've heard endless stories about guys who think that a $500 paint job should be just as good as a $5000 paint job. and for what it's worth, they're probably correct---assuming of course, that you never are closer than 10' from your car.

I suppose u can always credit the quality of paintjob of showcar vs race car lolololol.

As said you do NOT wax a car right after its painted. It has to outgas and cure.

Once again Blackmount fails. Shouldn't surprise anyone anymore.
