I'm down.
Fixed a couple boost leaks, will wash it extensively tomorrow and clean out interior, load up with equipment for a track day Saturday :)
I washed the Hyundai Sonata parked behind the 3000GT
Replaced my rear krank vent with a hose so I'm only running the small krank vent. I installed a Hallman MBC. Boost is rock solid now no more high boost surge. I guess the LCD BC/Mac solenoid setup needs a little more refining. The car feels really good. It caught me by surprise and scared me a little when it hit 29.6 psi in 3rd gear. :eek4:
Lol. I turned it down back to 24/25 psi. Even hitting almost 30 psi my dipstick didn't blow out like before. I'll be watching it some more to make sure my crankcase pressure isn't high but I think it's fixed. Between that and the boost controller working right it almost feels like a new car. I do need to change my oil though. At first I forgot to connect a couple of the sensors back together after replacing a vacuum hose so it ran like crap and rich up/down the street. Sometimes you forget things. :(
What was your PSI surging to?
It was the LCD BC/Mac solenoid combo not being able to keep up or more specifically the LCD BC. I would say above 20 psi it would kind of pulse trying to hit the target like it couldn't make up it's mind what to do. It wasn't knock related or anything because I watched. I'm confident it will work but needs some more refining. I think I had been battling it for awhile actually probably 6 months without really knowing it up until I hit higher boost. It's very very noticeable how different the car feels. Quite a few EBCs have a harder time at those boost levels. When I was researching a MBC more than I realized across multiple platforms had to switch from electronic in order for the boost to be stable. Standalones were an exception.
Took off stealth doors and traded out for these... Goin to rock these for a lil while... I think the carbon treatments are going to need paint. Especially when I put on the widebody. Certain accents work and others just don't.

Including my HKS EZII EBC, I have switched to MBC, 23 psi was my limit.
Started the long process of polishing my intake plenum. Was going to buy one from April (Who is amazing at this) but figured I have the time. How she smooths all the little areas is a mystery to me so far.
needs more low jfast :)
Bought some of those Mikalor Supra W2 t-bolt clamps to replace any of the remaining worm gear/band clamps on my I/C pipes (got a set of those silicone ones that April's rocking).
I also bought a spare stock fuel rail assembly just to have for originality because I polished up my OEM ones.
Has really soft springs. It's jacked when its parked. When you add 1000 lbs to it with downforce and bias it settles real nice and gets really really low. Lots of shock travel, excellent tire contact, comfy ride, very nice to drive on rough road, and very compliant.
Hard springs on street car with no travel is not for me. Our suspensions quiet an comply real nice like this. The geometry and roll is perfect.
I dont mind what my cars look like when they're parked. :p
Damn near nailed a ~6 pt buck last night... The brakes work! That would have been devestating since I dont have a front crash bar. Once I got on the highway, i made some pulls on 93 octane @ 21ish psi. Clean and strong.

That's how my brother smashed up his GT. He flew to New York and bought it. On his drive back to Denver he hit a deer. Sucked cause that car was 93 Sandstone and cherry.
Had he not bought one first, and let me drive it, I would have never owned one.
They sure are nice to have running! Congrats! You going to run it at Forced Performances upcoming shootout in Tx?
I worked on cleaning up a few parts, painted them, and then changed my oil. Took it out for about an hour driving around and had a blast. I had one spike at 30.6 psi in 4th.
Readied it for track day... vids sunday!
Rear head is on.
took her to work this morning. Boss is making me drive a demo now (new car every 2 days) so had to bring my car home.......my buddy followed me in a hemi charger......LMAO i destroyed him so bad he was like wtf?
Hahaha i was at 140 and about 3 walmarts ahead of him before i could see him again. He said "damn, i knew your car was fast but holy shit, its not like i was driving a 4 banger lol"
Walmarts, thats a good one.
tuned it...reset the idle, checked TPs, played with timing. did a few logs with the andriod logger
Almost hit it backing out one of the BMWs. Need to rent a storage unit or something.
:suspect: I know where you can put it....
Tore apart the TT motor and the block is broke, 1 rod looks like a snake, crank is probably junk. But on the good side found a Fidanza flywheel and Excedy clutch.
going through the engine a bit, cleaning, and replacing plugs
Got new lower window trims for X-mas, so I yanked the dear damaged ones on the Stealth and tossed them in the shit can.
Then I took the ones off the Spyder and put them on the Stealth.
The Spyder got the new ones.
About an hour job with taking the maintainer off the Spyder and getting both cars outside so I could work on them at the same time.
Bob. :)
finished up the oil pan, sway bar, and vband mods to the downpipe:

sorry, no beautiful tig welds here, but I used stainless wire in the mig and it is strong and nothing leaks.
I'd approve it. looks like you did good.
Both heads are on.
weather was real nice. detailed the car. cleaned the leather good. shined the tires and wheels.
Damn, that looks good. Nice job! I'm jealous of the Dave case.
I finally changed the starter on mine and changed the oil. wow I forgot how much fun and how much I missed driving it. My mod bug is kicking in! I plan to do interior and exterior cosmetic work to the car. Also load chrome V2.
BTW Chris, Are those the XYZ brakes? I can't remember if you were in that group buy or not.
...:suspect:...
