Well as far as promoting this site goes it looks like the NG did a pretty good job at that. I've seen a ton of new people on here and just looking (I'm sure you have the stats, Alan) it looks like a lot more activity.

You guys rock. That is all.
There is nothing like a well run NG to put the C into Community. Even those that couldn't go are pumped from seeing all the pics and vids. It's been 10 years since I tracked my car and now I want to go out again. I have to think the sponsoring vendors are happy with all the buzz that NG generates too.
I was posting like a mad man on another site and ending every post with "See you at the 2011 3000GT/Stealth National Gathering in Indianapolis, IN from June 21-26!"
I was told by a person that my posts made them seek out the NG site and register. :)
I met a guy at the gas station today ndd he asked if i was on 3si, i was like no, 3sgto is where everyone who knows anything is :)
^This.
I have always described 3sgto as a community of car enthusiasts (people who know what's going on, care about one another, etc).
I have never felt the same way about 3si, or any other forum for that matter.
I'm new to this site and I was previously on 3si and when I mentioned something about Pennsylvania 3S on there everything got shot down pretty quick if you dont mind me asking, what happened? It seemed like everyone was together on 3si and then it split. they won't even type 3sgto
