It just makes removal and reinstallation of the TB/intake manifold extremely quick and easy.
From what I've seen, at cold-start, my A:F goes rich... Like 11:1 for a few seconds and then over a minute or two it steadily rises to 14.7:1. It idles well, just rich, and only for a minute. Frankly, I've got such limited WBO2 experience, I'm not sure this is abnormal. Either way, I don't see any reason to reinstall my FIAV.

can a damaged FIAV cause a high idle when cold about 2000-3000 RPM...
everything else checked an working fine(BISS,IAC,TPS)
If you decide to replace the o-rings, be careful with the throttle plate screws. They are in there pretty tight and you can easily strip the heads out.
