saw something about this the other day. increasing wages overseas & stagnant or dropping wages here have caused some companies to move jobs back to CONUS.

me. at some point, the global market will reach relative equilibrium, coaxing companies to keep all production domestic (regardless of origin). wages don't have to reach parity for this--but they do need to be of sufficient amount (plus the cost of shipped goods) to offer financial benefit to a company to outsource. as the world continues to shrink, this is the way things will go.Quote:

Tell me again why we waste so much money on teachers unions in the US when there are students are so desperate to learn elsewhere. It's the most unfair thing we can do as a human race.

You won't be able to fix our education system. People need to accept that academics are a lot like sports, some people can be the starting quarterback and some people just can't.
