Apple Wins Australia Lawsuit Against Samsung
I have played with both devices and I thought they were both awesome, but I prefer the layout of the Samsung. At no point did I think the Galaxy tab or it's software was a copy.

it's already been proven that apple flat-out LIED about the facts of these devices it seeks injunctions against. doctored pics/images. and i won't even get into the whole "foxconn" BS. apple regularly insists upon 30% profit margins on every product. 30%. most other companies get around 5-10% for similar products. yes, kiddies...that's where that extra $500 you paid for a pc goes. yes, even $500 extra for tablets; or did you miss out when HP was selling theirs for a song?

I'm not Apple fanboy, in fact, I lean more towards disliking Apple...but if Samsung violated some sort of patents, why shouldn't Apple sue them, just like the scores of companies that sued Apple?

The big issue with this 2nd lawsuit is the way users navigate photos. Apparently the samsung tab does it too much like the iPad. Just recently a US judge prevented an injunction that would prohibit Samsung from selling in the United States (yes Apple is trying to get them banned in the states as well) and told Apple to bring some legitimate evidence to the table, not this bullshit that they've been using thus far.
I went to the grocery store the other day and needed some plastic cups and I noticed that there were multiple manufacturers that made clear plastic cups with a rolled lip, WTF they are totally ripping each other off because I know there are other ways to design a clear plastic cup.
Is it even possible to say clear plastic cup that many times in a sentence?

While I find this more humorous than insulting that they would do something like that, it's all just business as usual - to both companies. Undercutting, suing, badmouthing, etc.
The way I look at it, being both an Apple user and a Samsung user, it honestly doesn't bother me either way. I'll leave this up to people that are far more qualified than you or I to handle this stuff.

They have to piss themselves on the assembly line, suicides... All while Apple makes billions and you can look up your vegitarian neuvo restaurant on you iphone. And they claim Steve Jobs helped humanity? Apple demands the production does not stop because of our demand.
They claim to be green and hand over some refurb ipads to poor kids( a few) to schools to try to get the kids hooked on apple tech and they are "responsible manufacturers"...
