Which way does this thing face? does it point up? I swore it pointed down but this is as far as I can get it with it being tight. If I loosen it, it will leak wont it? It just wants to swivel. Something aint right.

The switch should point straight up then the oil line takes off towards the flywheel then upwards.
At least that's the way it is on my '91 TT because I just looked at a picture of it.
