Does anyone know if it's possible to dyno an AWD car on a 2WD dyno with the driveshaft removed? Guy at school claims he's done it with his Volvo tons of times and it puts down accurate numbers. Not sure how their diffs operate.

You can do it with some cars. A shop near my house was doing it but IDK if you can do it with a Volvo.
its possible i guess, but its not smart.
you would have to seal the transfer case somehow.
plus it wouldnt be accurate because its not actually spinning all the drivetrain so the numbers would be higher.
