Possibly need the assistance of some /b/tards

Starting a few days ago my mom started getting threatening calls to her cell phone from a supposed "collection agency" for a payday loan that she never took out. The number calling is 916-395-0000. Googling shows this number as pulling the same thing on several other people.

It's an obvious scam. Its the same story again and again. An Indian accent, saying that a payday loan was taken out and not paid back and that if they don't take care of it right away they will be arrested.

I finally told my mom that if they call tonight to let me talk to them and I am going the threaten physical violence if they call again. Many people said thats the only way to get them to stop calling.

So can anyone find any dirt on these scumbags? If there is info to be found I want it. The more I know the more I can scare the shit out of the scammers when they call.

Find out where they want her to send money and then contact the authorities.
String them along and get as much data as you can. Perhaps let the cell phone company know she's being harassed so they can take also take action.

Stealthee, what exact phone does your mom have? There are ways to block numbers depending on the phone.


Also, if you'd like, let me know. I could harass the living piss out them. I'm talking so many phones bombarding their lines at once they won't know what to do. I can also do call screens, number changes, and obviously voice changes so they can't track who is calling them.

She has an LG Envy or however they spell it for the phone. I want them to call again so I can threaten to rip their tongues out and feed them to the wolves so they can never talk again.

Phone bomb them if you can. It looks like the number they are masking with is a fake. You might be able to find out a real landline number connected to them though and get them. Harrass the fuck out of them. Get them good and maybe they will stop bothering everyone.

I've got the number to reach them. The number they used against your mom is as you said, masked. We'll see how well they respond to 100+ dial ins simultaneously. Looking forward to them getting lippy with me as I force feed them their same medicine. I'm thinking a good dark lord voice and some authority should do the trick. Once they get sick of that, I'll jam up the lines. :)
