So, I have been looking for a rear spoiler for about two weeks now. I don't plan on buying it for a little while.. but something really just hit me. (I'm an idiot, I know.) My spoiler is also a back breaklight.
I can't seem to find one that I like and serves the same purpose as the one I have.
Any suggestions? Maybe point me in the right direction?

You can run w/o a third brake light. Most states don't care. Otherwise, the 99 vr4s have a light mounted inside the rear window (like most other vehicles), just rig something up like that.
Well, I could always find one without the back brake*** light. However, I was curious to know if there are some.. that are not stock that can be hooked up as a spoiler and a back brake light..?
The 97-99 "hoop" spoiler has a center brake light in it:

So that's all? I was expecting to find so many more options. I suppose I am just silly.
iirc, base stealths had the 3rd brake light like 99's did: mounted inside the rear window. you can always use that.
fwiw, n/a wing mounted 1-2" further back than the stock location is pure sex.
I'll have to look that up. The one mounted in the rear window. I know I want to get rid of the spoiler I have. It's beautiful how it is.. but.. I need to add a little "Stakie-pizzazz".
i think subtle works best on these cars. keep that in mind. whatever you put on there should look OEM. metal pillars look tacky & ricey.
Ugh, like the ones people put on those little civics!? Ew. No, something a little bit more classy. I'll find some pictures of ones I have seen and enjoy the look of.

I even like the ones that come stock on the gts...
If I find more I will post them.
For some reason I like the hoop spoilers...usually I wouldn't say that but they just seem to work on the 3k's imo. What year is the car? Toss on some active aero goodies ;)
