Windows 7 : Neat Feature
I have never used Vista so excuse me if this is an old feature migrated to Windows 7. But I really like how it allows you to pin a folder to the taskbar, give it a name, and expand it depending on what files & folders are contained inside. Basically it allows you to turn a folder into a cascading menu. It really helps with projects I do without having to open up a bunch of folders all the time.
Anyone else noticed this feature?

Its now to 7. You can pin applications and files too.

I kinda like the GodMode,I think Vista had it also but,I never realized it until I loaded Windows 7

My favorite feature is dragging screens to the top to maximize them and the sides to make the half screen.

You could do the folder pinning and cascading in XP as well.
Nice heads up on the GodMode!

My favorite feature? Not having to reinstall the OS every year due to loss of performance and degradation.
<--Win7 x64 Ultimate installed 10/20/09 and still runs just as fast as the day I loaded it. :D

How is your start up times doing? For some reason mine are getting stupid, but is the best by far OS windows has had...
-
I just hit restart from reading your post and timed it - 47 seconds for a complete reboot from hitting "restart" to login screen. I also use a 10K rpm velociraptor for my OS drive and don't allow it go get beyond 40% full to keep load times down, along with regular defrags as I'm constantly swapping out Steam games on the drive. I'm really wanting to get an SSD but not until I can get at least 250GB for $200 or less. I just can't see putting some little 60GB thing in my computer.

I have been looking at the SSD's dreaming as well. Was going to get this, but couldn't pull the trigger yet: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-20231378-L04C

I also love the docking features. Hitting the Windows/Start Button + Arrows = Best feature ever. Quick Dock Left and Right, or Quick Full screen.
