3S National Gathering
At this point, the content of this email should not surprise anyone. Its an email I should have written several months ago.
I doubt any will be surprised when I say that their will not be an NG18 and we currently have no plans to try and schedule any future NG's. Writing this email is something that is easier said that done. The NG has been a big part of my life since the 1st one in 2002 and its hard to say "Goodbye". I have met alot of people at the NG over the years and several I feel lucky to call friends, I am sad that without and NG I may never get to see them again. Hopefully I will get to see some of you at one of the remaining 3S events someday.
I want to thank all of the NG's sponsors without them the event could never have happened. Over the years almost every 3S business was an NG sponsor. One sponsor deserves a special mention is 3SX. 3SX was a sponsor every since year. I want to thank Steve and his staff for being there to support us every year and for being the title sponsor from 2008 through the end.
A few other thank you's:
Thanks you Jeremy and Tiffany, without you there would never have been and NG.
To all of the committee members and helpers over the years. Brian Hagelshaw, John Monin, Christy Pensinger, Peggy Schalale, Josh Anker, Bob Melton.
To Traci Bandelin for supplying the NG with graphics.
To Chris Patterson, Levi Bailey and everyone else that helped setup our autocross every year.
To my wife Lori, had she not stepped up I doubt we would have had an NG after Jeremy and Tiffany stepped down after NG06.
We have some NG shirts left. As soon as I get some time I'll get them counted and for sale on line.
Its been fun everyone. Make sure to support the remaining 3S events before they are all gone.
Come find me on 3sgto.org if you want to chat or reminisce about the NG.

Sorry to hear this :upset:. Some of my best memories and great friendships have been forged at the many national gatherings I’ve attended. It’s been a good run. Thank you to all that worked, planned, helped, and attended. Until we meet again . . .

Sad to hear, I appreciate the thanks for the hard work. NG's were always the highlight if my year, it just got to a point where it became difficult to justify spending 1k to 1.5k for a week long vacation. Too many other real life responsibilities that needed tended to. I do miss all the friends that I have made but hope to see at other great gatherings like BRG and UMG someday.

I am glad I was finally able to make it out to one before they ended.
Thank you for all that you've done for the events. I'll always be kicking myself for missing out on the Memphis one.

IIRC you made it to Bowling Green. Best Road Course we ever had.

This is the news you know is coming but you still hate to actually receive. Many thanks to the people that made these events happen, the NG has made for some amazing experiences and memories for me.

Great times, great memories, with great people!

3S National Gathering
The good times with 3Sers can still proceed. BRG. UMG. TX gathering. For me it’s the DSM/EVO/GTR Shootout in August. Be there or be square. If we get enough people there and maybe they will tag on a /3S eventually. Informal Car show, dyno day, autocross and drag racing. Plus evening shenanigans if inclined.
