clutch problem
So when i push in the clutch without the key in the ignition, the car tries to start. Sometimes when it is depressedthe car wont stop and you have to disconnect battery to get it to stop. What is my issue? I am currently travel 6 hours away to get this as i write this. Any Help please.

I'm willing to bet the clutch pedal is rubbing/pressing wires under the dash.

+2. I had a similar, but opposite issue years ago. Wiring got caught up in my clutch pedal and a few times when I pushed the clutch pedal it would kill the car, because it popped a fusible link.

How dangerous is this? Should i be looking to dissassemble the clutch to find the issue? I figured a wire is shorted or grounded to something.

You need to look under the dash to find the wires getting caught and causing the issue.

So after taking off the push button from the clutch pedal, the vehicle is able to drive normally, and it starts normally, I have the push button ran up by the center dash console. Ill post a pick in the morning. I do appreciate all the helpful suggestions as to what the problem could be.

That might be a special feature someone programmed into your clutch pedal switch. Who knows.
