An Announcement From Maximal

So after much thought the time has come for Maximal to scale back a bit and no longer sell directly to customers. With an increasingly demanding career outside of the business I've fallen into keeping Maximal going just for the money which sucks all the passion out of it and isn't fair to me, my family, or you guys.

The good news is we still plan to make parts and offer them at the other 3S retailers. 3SX already carries our solid mounts, TC Brackets, and crash bars. We're working with Hans over at 3S Warehouse to sell even more of our catalog and are also open to talking to any other shops that may be interested.

Once I know what products those shops are interested in I'll throw up a thread to sell off the remaining inventory of the other parts and then go wholesale only.

This allows me to minimize the work related to the business while still offering the platform some parts that I like to think are pretty awesome. We all know the last thing this platform needs is even less parts.

I know there are probably still some Maximal gift certificates out there so I'll still honor those till the end of 2016 and ship any parts from those orders direct. Just don't expect our typical quick shipping. :)

Also I've still got my car and will now have time to actually enjoy it so with that said I'm not going anywhere as a community member.

Lastly, I wanted to thank you guys for this adventure over the past 12 years. We've come a long ways together and without Maximal and specifically this car and community I would have a lot less great friends in my life.

I know exactly where you are coming from. Sometimes you just need to step away and get back to enjoying life and your car.

While it sucks to hear Terry, I am glad you are sticking with the community. Even though we haven't seen each other in many years, I still consider you a friend.

I'll look for your sell off thread when it happens and maybe I can buy one more thing from you before you go.

Even after it's gone, I'll still rock my Maximal tshirts and hoodies with pride. :thumbup:

Glad to hear you will still be producing great parts, upsetting to hear as you always have the best prices but life is way more important than work.

So will there be cheap shirts...I Should have added one to my order I just placed the other day, as my current one is completely worn out!

I'm horrible with FB messenger since I refuse the install their extra app for it. :p

Yeah I hate that crap with FB Messenger also. Look into an app called Friendly+. it uses FB API and works more like the old school FB App did. IM works fine on it also. PM'ing you now.
