Looking for feedback.
What do you think of the idea of a quarterly contest for the best how-to article with a $50 sponsor gift cert on the line as a prize.
My thought. would be two months to write the article and get it posted. One month for users to read and vote on it. Most votes gets the prize.
I think I'd have to require at lease two articles from separate authors to have the contest. If we did not have two we'd just skip the quarter.
I have a few ideas that would be good info and informative. Even if there is only one winner all of the submissions would be good info if done correctly as long as it didnt have erroneous info.

I think that'd be really cool. A way to incentivize members into taking time out of their (understandably) busy lives to contribute to the community knowledge-base would be a very nice thing to do. I feel a lot of people have and continue to contribute great how-to's already, and the gift cert would be a nice bonus to put towards their builds.

Do already written how to's count? I believe I have 3 written =p. Give me a topic and I'll get working on it.
I looked, but did not find... Do we have a stickied page with all the lubricant caps, and qualities? As many times as I have looked them up, and had to fill I still never can remember all the different craps.
