Go to your local range and rent a few. Try 9mm first and then work your way up.

Nice Jeff. Do you like Federal ammo. I have used it for my .22 but always considered it cheap ammo. Never really tried to see if it was more or less accurate than like remington.

I really like handling the XDms, but I've yet to shoot one.

too bad fmj is about all you can get anymore...

Nice, I almost got one to carry but it was just too much gun for me. I'm a smaller / slim guy, I can't conceal much of a weapon. I ended up going with a Kahr, which I love.

I'd like to check into one, heard good things about 'em.
I'm pretty happy with my Glock 20 though. Not a real fan of the .45 round.
