Hi guys, I have here a 1993 3000gt vr4 twin turbo. I am having some issues with it and was wondering if anyone can help. My car is bogging and when I hit high speed or down shift, my car makes a raddling noise, like something is about to come off. Any thing helps. Thanks.

This is directly from his blog entry. "Hi everyone, I am having trouble with my vr4. There is a minor coolant and oil leak under the turbo and the car is bogging. I also have a greddy profec b spec 2 turbo timer in and I think it might of been touched. This car is tune a little and I am running 15g turbos. Any advice will help. Thanks!"
Yes, a data logger is a must, do you have any gauges that are reading low or abnormal? With aftermarket mods you should always have some aftermarket gauges to keep an eye on your engine. The leaks are what really bother me. You need to figure out where those are coming from. Coolant leaks, unless you can see it leaking from the water pump or hoses... could mean a head gasket leak if they are anywhere near the heads. Do you have any smoke coming from the car? Also, the oil leak, have you checked inside of the intercooler/turbo hoses to see if theres any oil in there? Are there any check engine lights? When you say tuned a little and you think it might have been touched... leads me to believe you are not sure about how your car runs or how it is setup. Have you tried getting a hold of the shop that tuned the car?
Check your exhaust for the rattle noise. Look for cracks or anything loose.

I am in MN, The car has 47k miles on it. Most maintenance I've done is just change the oil and check for leaks. Nothing is leaking. My wide band is reading good also.
Well I haven't check this year, I have a wide band to help me with the gas and the air ratio. I'm still really confuse on to read it though.
Cover the wideband up until you fix the issues...
...beg, borrow or steal a boost leak checker, then get a logger on her, and that will get you going in the right direction!

***EDIT...wait a second, your blog does indeed say coolant and oil leak but you say there are none? Then you say your wide and works great, but you don't know how to read it?
It'll be better if you see it in person. I'm still studying this car and I don't really know much about it. But the leak is coming from under the turbo and when I say the wide band is working great, I meant that the senors and everything is still good on it. Just don't know how to read the wide band. If you can explain a little bit to me, Is lower than 14 good or bad? which side is lean and which side is rich?
