| History: I first layed my eyes on the 3/S platform in 1992 when I saw my first 3000GT drive down the freeway and pull away like a dream. I then fell in love with the 3000GT VR-4 after watching it DESTROY all of the competition on the original Gran Turismo. But it went far beyond that, I was infatuated with that 1992 Mitusbishi GTO Twin Turbo in Galaxy White, as it was labeled, specifically that year and color (which is why I like to put that as my car's color on this page even though it's W75). So for the next 6 years following the 1997 release of Gran Turismo, I set out to find a pristine version of it. At the time, a college student and no job, this was not that easy for me but with a little patience (6 years!) I finally saw her drive past me in the year and color that I was looking for.... Best of all, she had a "For Sale" sign on her! I literally called the phone number from behind the car at a stop light, bought her from its original owner who had it garage-kept its whole life and very well maintained, and the rest is history! I still keep all her original parts stored away for that one day that I would decide to change back to a stock body. Just hit 114,000 original miles and about 6000 miles on her rebuilt/ re-enforced motor block. Now I need to take some more recent photos of her for my garage!! I'll get it done here soon..
