The Devastators failed back in Feb due to the front shaft snapping. It completely destroyed the front turbo and almost took out everything in the rear. $2100 for a rebuild and the cause of the failure could not be determined by MTC so I'm too reluctant to give it another go around. I wish I would have had good datalogging capabilities to get some VD numbers before they blew up. Now I'll be going with a slightly smaller turbo that hopefully won't overwhelm the turbo shaft due to the comp wheel size and won't surge if indeed I did have some problems regarding that. I should have some new billet turbos to install in the next month or so.

I like to post in here just to document progress. I am following your build for future reference ... also have seen a lot of your posts and already have a long to do list from them =)

I forget to check here since it's not in an ideal place nor do I visit the project section much. Anyways, I've been working through some bugs. I went to the track back in Sept and should have a new bumper here in the next few weeks. Currently still trying to figure out a solution to boost spikes since I don't get them in a repeatable manner.

I need to replace some gaskets and overall try to get my intercooler system tighter/free of leaks. It's not a big deal at 15-20 psi but it seems like closer to 30 psi everything leaks easier. I may need to order the correct size clamps and possibly some better couplers we'll see.

I thought the other night I was lifting the heads. While I'm missing some coolant I may still have a small leak to fix since I'm not 100% sure I don't have one. It was acting kind of weird temperature wise loosing some heat after a few hard runs so I hope that was a fluke.

I had Denso 720cc injectors and an Aeromotive Stealth fuel pump. I upgraded to 1000cc injectors which resulted in increasing my boost a few more psi until the fuel pump was maxed. Lol. So now I have an E85 Walbro 400 fuel pump in there and so far has been good up to 27 psi. I think I need to fix some boost leaks before I can turn it up more since I couldn't get it past there plus I honestly didn't pressure test after swapping injectors/plugs.

    Stay tuned.
