DR T3 manifolds, 2.5" 02 housings, and 38mm Tial Wastegates

I have a lightly used T3 setup from Dynamic Racing. This was the 2nd revision iirc. The only difference between this and the newest style is people were complaining about fitment because they tightened bolts up as they put it together so Matt added a flex section on the 02 housing. Plus they're coated a shiny but lower heat ceramic coating. I had no fitment issues just leave the bolts loose until you have all of it assembled.

This is almost new and I haven't used it in over a year since it has been in storage along with my stroker. I don't currently have plans to put it back together since I sold the turbos but who knows. The manifolds are tapped for EGT sensors but they can easily be plugged. You will need a custom intake and FMIC setup to use these manifolds. Any 2nd gen downpipe will bolt up no problem.

Do you have an extra one? 5-speed 25-spline with the 300M OS specifically for the SCE center diff? Sure. I was probably going to use the money to buy one. I would have to ask Phillip if the lifetime warranty could transfer owners. If not I would rather just sell this and buy new.

just sent pm.... im pretty positive all 25spline shafts are the same 5 or 6 speed (mine is a 25 spline) and the sce center diff comes with a 300m shaft built into it

Not right now. I already have some billet TD04s I'll be running for awhile and if I decide to upgrade again I'll cross that road when it comes. I already have a few buyers with cash but I want to see if Mike ends up trading his SCE center diff since I was going to buy one anyways which would save some work.

The market is just terrible and has been for awhile. I'm waiting to hear back about the trade for the center diff. Otherwise, I have one or two people that are scrounging together the money so we'll see. I'm not in a hurry.

Thanks. How has your car been running? Those DR-900s I sold you originally came with these manifolds. The manifolds were new but the turbos had a few thousand miles on them since they came off Matt's red 95 VR-4 when it put down 714AWHP years ago. I guess sitting for a few years with no oil in them not being used must have dried out the seals some unfortunately.

After seeing SirLaughaloTT run a 10.81 on the 5857s I sold him that were mounted to these manifolds I'm almost tempted to keep them for awhile yet. I'm in limbo though. They're quality manifolds and won't hurt to sit on longer. I figured I would try a quick sale before I changed my mind again... and again... and again. Lol.

It was on a 3.5L 6G74. I have a 6G72 stroker they were on before I got pissed at the local machine shop that messed up the o-ring job to where it leaked coolant the first time it fired. Coincidentally they went out of business about a year ago after being around for 40+ years and having a good reputation up until their work went south for some reason.

I'm doing pretty good man. I ended up putting about 60 easy miles on the turbos before deciding to play it safe, and sent them back to Matt to be rebuilt. Slowly started getting the car put back together before running into some difficulties and brought her down to Ray and the boys at Pampena's. That was almost a year ago, and between some issues with a cracked head and poorly cleaned bead blasted baffles in my valve covers, she was rebuilt again and should be 100% and all set to go by next weekend. Years after starting the project it looks like I'll finally get to drive her, haha.

Sounds like you're a long time coming. :) GL man. I know how those builds can go. I spent 2 years on mine. I may revisit it again.

I'm going in on a SCE center diff buy so I'm not really looking at any trades for now. These are still available though. I can't convince myself to keep them for another year, sell the DR Ti-Al turbos, and pick up some GTX turbos if I realistically won't make a build change for at least another year. There are plenty of T3 options available for these manifolds and not just DR turbos. :)

Yeah I need to get a new shaft for the one. The wheel looks ok but I'll let Matt be the judge. I had to look very closely at both turbos because I almost couldn't spot what was wrong. It took me plenty of spins to see it was slightly bent but not enough to hit the turbine housing. I probably won't send it in until next year though. I'm currently working on getting the SCE center diff, a new front bumper with paint, new clutch, E85 Walbro 400, and some other odds/ends to get my car ready for the track abuse.

I find it dumb to run a 3.5L on TD04s given the restrictive exhaust side that will choke off the extra displacement. Sure it will be a torque monster but I'd want all the power I could get out of the turbos. That's part of the reason for wanting bigger turbos to put on the stroker. I changed my mind about running large T3s since I honestly don't need that much plus the DR-950s came up so I couldn't resist. Spool and power on the 3.5L should be nuts. :D I just need to work on building an external TD05 manifold setup this winter/spring if I get time.

Not sure. I don't know if a housing could be made to fit. I was hoping for more power but similar spool to the 750s which was part of my reason for the choice. I wanted a Ti-Al T3 turbo and Matt has made a few Ti-AL DR-900s, 1000s, etc but I couldn't get any response out of him on the cost for a new set so he may not be able to get the parts anymore or it's too expensive to do. I've thrown around the idea of doing a pre-turbo external wastegate dump with DR-750s on the stroker just to see how much of a gain there would be. If I were to get good enough at fabricating I'd try it but most would think it's silly. It'd be a cool challenge. The new EFR turbos come in a T3 size but require a custom manifold. It's an option. So is going with a single turbo. I'm sure the build will evolve a few times. I get bored sticking to the same thing for awhile if I actually have the time to tinker with it; otherwise it doesn't bother me because I'm too busy taking care of other things.
