FYI, for anyone planning on going to the Mitsubishi Owners Day at the factory in Bloomington/Normal, IL... the date was pushed back by one week. The original date was set for Sept 15th, but was changed (seemingly unannounced) to Sept 22nd.
If you're like myself and already made hotel reservations around Sept 15th, make sure you change your reservations before the hotels all fill up!

They had a dynapack one year. You unbolt your wheels and then bolt the dyno to each hub.

My wife and I attended our first Factory MOD this weekend and the results were pretty good. I put in two tickets for wheels thinking one of us could win a set for her Stealth and wouldn't you know, we both won. What a challenge getting 8 17" rims into the VR4 with our folding chairs, sub box and luggage.

I saw you trying to get those wheels in there. I think you took them all out of the boxes to make them fit. I won a set of wheels too. But I had a car trailer there. :)

Yeah, out of the boxes was the only way. I had to leave 4 boxes behind due to absolutely no room. I had 2 horizontal rims on either side of 2 vertical rims in the back seat with the backs down. The middle rims were face to face and the horizontal rims were inside the dish of the wheel and all was a tight fit. I then had two rims upside down in the rear over the spare with camera bags and detailing junk in the bowls. Our folding chairs and luggage was pilled on top where ever it fit and the 4 boxes were opened up flat and were behind the front seats and the rims in the rear seats. My poor wife took the 8 hour ride with her knees just a touch off the glove box door. WHen I got home, it took a while to ID the rims, but the Mitsu part number on the box comes back to 2000 Chrysler Sebring rims. The silver rims are around $450 each, the white ones are listed at $720 something and the Beige metalic rims are listed at $800 each on Chrysler Parts direct. I see where similar rims on ebay are going for around $160 ea.
I thought I'd try to win a set for her Stealth R/T, but after putting them next to the car, me no likey. I'll probably sell all 8 rims and use the proceeds to buy her a set of rims of her choice.
