Is it just me, or is Tapatalk > All?

I love Tapatalk to the point that I almost can't stand using "normal" web forums anymore. It's everything I want and nothing else. Unread topics, participated topics, all topics. Perfect.

Search sucks, but that's about the only thing that keeps me from deleting my forum bookmarks.

I love Tapatalk. The developers did a great job and I'm glad it's cross-platform.

I just wish they wouldn't give certain forum companies the option to have their own propriety versions that aren't compatible with the main Tapatalk app itself. :shake2:

Try uninstalling the app, clearing out all browsing data, and then going back to 3sgto.org. It should prompt you to learn more about this forum being native to Tapatalk where you could then redownload it and be on your way.

It's great when on the road and need to fill some time but browser is way better. Also an annoying issue with tapatalk is that if you click on the participating tab and view the threads your following it only lists threads you have posted in and not threads you have simply subscribed to. Very annoying.

That also chews up a lot more data. Unless you are on an unlimited plan less data usage is good.


I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. WHen I say the phone "reset" it factory reset. all apps and data not in my google account was lost.

New tapatalk layout sucks. Also when selecting the subscribed option it shows up blank and I have to refresh to get the list. On a positive note gifs now work. You have to click on them to load in a new window but atleast it's a step in the right direction.

Never used tapatalk, never intend to use it. I do most of my browsing on my home PC but I do browse on my phone a lot too and I don't even use 1 gig of my data.

It's this weird new "thing" that seems to be taking over everyone under the age of 30, and almost everyone above that age. It comes with it's on "Andriod" or some fruity equivalent. It seems most used as a way to be "social" but never as a device to call other people on. It is used to help people find where they are going, then promptly crash their vehicle due to not focusing on where they are driving instead of where they are going. Then there's me, who uses it as a music streaming device every day for work and nothing else. :D
