I have a class next semester on these guys. I just want to get a head start. I want to build a PLC controlled servo to start with. I just don't know where to start at. There is so much information I am overloaded. Because of my school I have access to all kinds of Alan Bradley programs, matlab and some Mitsubishi stuff.
I know a PLC is not the best thing for this application but because of school I'd like to get familiar with one. When I think PLC, I think of a DIP IC. All I find are big industrial ones? I'd like to build the power supply and build the circuit for the PLC and have them on the same PCB.
