After a successful autocross novice school yesterday (I instructed) I was amped up and ready to go to the race today.
My first run went well but it was a bit moist, drops were falling on the windshield and when I started up the camera it focused on the drops instead of the track :(
I ran a 63.7xx. Had a nice slide in the wet at the first turnaround, though. I did not upload this vid.
2nd run I had a passenger, my parents neighbor. He isnt really a car guy per se, he drives a 97 Accord he has had since new, but he DOES love cars. He goes to museums and get a few car magazines. He always asks about my projects with my car and comes over when I am wrenching. Anyways, he really enjoyed the ride as you will hear. Ran a 61.7 I think, but I hit a cone, so a 2 second penalty.

3rd run I had another passenger, a younger guy who saw my first 2 runs and wanted a piece. This run I spun once and was pretty much invalid after that. No way to make up for the spin. a 65.xxx

My last run Pete (neighbor) rode again, he enjoyed himself too much for me not to give him another ride. This was my best run, a 61.3 I think but I also hit a cone, FAIL! I won my class with this run though, the other cars had worse problems than I did or were just straight up slower.

Was fun, the 265 Kumho XS's did better than I thought. The new 14" brakes were nice even though I have just the 'street' pad, was able to kick in the ABS no problem.
I think if I was on some 285 Hoosiers I could of got into the 57's or 58's in the morning session, there were only 2 people faster than that during my session.
