Would you auto cross & road course guys find an antilag setup worth while? Setting it up shouldn't be too hard but I don't want to waste time with it if no one will use it.

I will use it....

Will it be adjustable?

Every parameter will be custom set: Trigger speed/load/rpm/time, air and fuel injection time and delay....

I would find it very useful, every bit if lag I can decrease on TD05's will be nice.

Just for launch control.

This is something else.

I would like to have it, can't say I will auto-x and road coarse though, not sure why that is the question.

Correct me if I'm wrong Greg, but a true Antilag is very hard on your turbos, and is better suited for racing when it's absolutely necessary.

Most 3/s owners don't want to change out turbos very often.

yep, already talked to Brett about if it could be done, he informed me that you already had an idea for it.

Anti-lag is neat but not really necessary for me. I would love to have the option though.

I know it's not really on topic, but is there any way you could do no lift to shift?

Don't worry about the NLTS guys. :)

My car has anti lag.

Or, as it's called in its natural form: a really bad backfire because my coils are shot.

:( lol

Just having the option would be nice. And your right mb3000 it's pretty bad for them, but who cares when you can have the sound!

I'd say we'll have NLTS in the next version...

having the option would be fantastic, but im not sure how often i would ever use it. its really is pretty rough on your engine and turbos.

hooray for NLTS! V2 needs to come out soon! the summer is quickly approaching! hahaha

V2 will come out when I decide on a good stopping point and make sure things are tested well enough. The reason I haven't been posting much about its features is because I don't want to deal with the hype and constant PMs from people asking when it'll be finished.

Like you're saying futurevr4man, that's kinda why I'm debating not even persuing Antilag.

hahaha greg, i could probably guess quite a bit thats on v2. you talk more than you think hahahaha :)

is it possible just to allow an option for ignition cut on "overrun". i.e., when you let of the pedal on my car, the injectors don't stop firing for a second (Brett later informed me that my ECU may be unique in this vs the later ECU's), if only the ignition was cut, it would provide what I want. Just an option to continue fuel for a bit and cut the ignition or retard it well after TDC would work for me. It's not really antilag in the true fashion, but pretty sure it'd get the job done for how I use it (downshifts).

That would be a lot easier than what I had in mind! Let me look into it.

I have another suggestion. How about a user custom rev limit adjuster that could be activated by the clutch switch?

anyonebutme
04-15-2012, 08:50 PM
that would be the standard setup launch control...which I personally don't have a use for, but some might like it better than a VSS controlled rev limit.

to clarify what I mean, you can't single clutch downshifts with a clutch switch rev limited.....I know, narrow use.

Yep, I see what you're saying. I need to get the drag racer setup mentality out of my head.
