I don't want to remove the back seat. I just want to remove the carpeted panel that is on the rear of the back seat. I've searched but keep getting "back seat removal"; does anyone know how to do this?

It's been a while, but I think there's a velcro strip on the bottom, you pull it loose from that and then push the carpeted piece upwards to unhook the panel from the seat.

Thank you! I pulled up the carpeted piece at the bottom of the seat and sure enough there were 3 screws. Once I removed the screws the back piece slid right off. That should have been one of the first places I checked.

On my 1994 3000GT the carpet on the back of the rear seat looks to be sewn in and part of the actual seat covering and non-removable. Is the rear seat carpet removable on all model 3S?

Sides are sewn in yes, but the rear panel isn't (rear of seat visible from trunk).
