91 stealth 5 speed convert to 6speed

How big of a pain is it and what all do i need? Its a 91 stealth rt twin turbo.. I've got the motor ripped out and torn down to the block anyways and my tranny grinds like a beast and pops out of 3rd so its gotta get replaced anyways... So is it worth my time to just get the 6 speed? The motor is pretty much stock as are the turbo's so im only pushing a little over 300 horse and the gearing in the 5 speed isnt very good for driving around town haha. 35 rolls i get killed cuz im right inbetween 1st and 2nd gear :(

you need trans, xfercase, driveshaft, rear end, shifter cables, shifter and shift knob. (knob only important if anyone else ever drives it)

not to question you but are you sure i need the rear end? ive heard some say you need it and ive heard others say you dont... id hate to just skip it and it not work.. but at the same time id rather not buy it to not use it...

YES, you need the rear end. 5 speed and 6 speed have a different final drive.

alright tyvm! but after i get all the parts it will just bolt right up correct? since they are the same motors i would assume so but we all know what happens when you assume stuff...
