Bryan, will your data logger, hook up to my 94? I wanna see if the ECU is seeing a Tacho signal.

Alan92RTTT
03-29-2012, 08:38 AM
No, he's a 1st gen. You'd need someone with a 94 or a 95.

OK no big deal, I may be late coming to the party, we will be having church service in our new location, will be hard pressed to get there by 1:00, more like 1:30 ish for me.

B-Man

Yeah, sorry, mine won't work. Jacob666 might have one, he's got an early 2g. Otherwise I have an O-scope and I can see if it's at least making it through the wiring to the ECU.

Given the start time is 1:30 that works fine ;)

Wish I trusted the car making the trip up there, got my cables all in and just purchased a coupler for it and still can't get it to recognize the serial connection on my Palm! :rage:

Can you do the shift knobs with blue stitching?

Mitoska
03-29-2012, 08:31 PM
Yes I can get most colors, I would have to order it though. I only stock the all black, black with red, black with grey. It would not cost anything more for different colors, just some waiting time to get.

Alan92RTTT
03-29-2012, 08:32 PM
If you have anything in blue please bring it along so I can check the color vs the seats.

Brian, think the car will make it to the GR/Kzoo area? Maybe we'll have to do a spring SW picnic soonish.

Its driveable sort of, its really quirky, today I went to take to it to Autozone to see if it was throwing codes seems I am still fighting with the datalogger, of course our autozone doesn't have ODB-I so I was shit out of luck. On the way home it finally did the old no throttle, no power, SES light coming on until you get to a stop and idle, then it disappears, until you accelerate again......I just don't know what the issue is and can't risk driving it 1 hour away and breaking something further.

Have you pulled the ECU to check the caps?

Thoes symptoms sound very familiar.

I will host it if you like but who would be willing to travel to where I live or the surrounding area?

Mitoska
04-01-2012, 07:55 PM
I would! Also, really for the detroit area, it's just 2 hours on US-12.. Or we could have in in Brooklyn somewhere.. big state park.. and the racetrack is here to! And i would not have to drive far!

BrianHag

Like I said, I will do one, but its tough to get the GR guys to drive two hours this way. But the northern indy guys would be up for it!
