OK i know not a whole lot of you prolly know whats goes on inside an auto trans but im hoping a few of you do. i myself not a clue whilst i could rebuild a tt trans in my sleep by now.
all my information is showing the auto fwd 3/s trans being very similar to the dsm auto fwd and that trans is almost identical to awd dsm.

im having issues with my talon trans and the dsm douche's are not being much help.
basically i cant get the car to move in forward gear under 1500 rpm and then it seems like its driving through something . i.e. parking brake . but in reverse it moves at idle and effortlessly .

i also have in place a kiggly manu-matic mod which allows removal of the tcu .
heres a wiring diagram of it and i have verified all diodes are wired correctly .

your thinking the fluid isnt filled enough? ipt has you make a new mark on the stick that is much higher . right now its bove the stock mark but lower than that mark. not running i should say i ran out of fluid yesterday lol

Mine was good on mark too, it just didn't prime the tc or something. I ended up taking it apart and filling the tc before installing. I don really know why it happened I just know how I fixed it

i have zero experience with manu-matic mods on 4a3x transmissions. i cannot say as i've ever run into the problem you are describing.

This happened to my old DSM. Ohm out the solenoid to the TCM. I had to rerun a few wires, wasn't too big of a job, just wish I had tried that first instead of all the other shit.

The guy from IPT can be rather abrasive at times from my single experience with him in installing the valve body mod and shift kit installation they did for me back in 2006.
