I'm at my gf's house and she has been cleaning the kitchen, I spent a half hour reading that website, she asked me if I was mad at her cuz I haven't said a word, lol.

A Pantera is about the only Ford product I would ever consider owning. It still looks great after 40 years.

Personal taste only, but if I were choosing the five most beautiful profiles in automotive history, this and the Ford GT/GT40 are right there. :)

EDIT:

I grew up a Ford guy, but that doesn't influence my opinion one iota.

Great read, thanks for posting. I love the guy's mix of engineering and fabrication concerns as he built the thing. Resonance tuning his exhaust by ear ... insane!

I always had a weak-spot for Panteras - had a customer with one way back when, and almost bought one once, but was stayed by inadequate finances.
