View Full Version : My newest hobby!
Being in a great mood - ALL FUCKING DAY!
I'm up to, like, 45 minutes at a time - 45 straight minutes, can you believe it?
I haven't been able to duplicate this, however.
i think i max out around 45 seconds at a time.
p.s.
that's what she said.
I fear my smile will become a rictus...
mamma always said if you make a face, your face will get stuck like that. too bad it also applies to cynicism....

Cynicism, universally rather than selectively applied, is a good thing, but...let us not make this another political thread.

Are you trying to help or hinder, Mr. Cooper?

Hell
You made it its work before your good mood was spoiled?
I didn't even make it out of bed first.

Why, that's just not true.
I had some yesterday, and it was great - I just can't...maintain like I used to.
On a related note, the sex lasted longer than my good mood today - I saw a really (I mean REALLY) nice butt today, and the good feeling only lasted until the cheeks in question passed from my sight.

Just finished a terrific dinner with my wife at my favorite steakhouse - a salvific for a crappy day if ever there was such a thing.
Good mood going on three hours now.
Expensive, though - damn.
Still feeling relatively "up" - waiting for the wheels to come off.

What are these "good moods" you speak of? :suspect:
What are these "good moods" you speak of? :suspect:
Working with me is as painless and enjoyable as it gets, and when people (most people, at any rate) see me coming, they start smiling.
Be that as it may, I find myself more often these days close to barking at people because of their sloppy work habits and/or self-absorbed behaviors, and so the mood is a little tougher to maintain.
My mood is in fine fettle when I don't have to deal with people who are actively working at cross-purposes, pretending they don't know I am their ally in all things work-related.
When people forget this, the facade starts to dry and crack, and I have to remind them of certain things, which can be unpleasant for them, but moreso for me, because I don't like to do that.
Make sense?
