I've had this pic for a couple days sitting around, and I had just about deleted it when today we start the Crosby nut swinging again.

Crosby fans wonder why the rest of us despise the guy. Well, here's an example:

4 pictures, 7 articles, one page. Really?!?! I don't think the Bruins had that much coverage this past spring when they hoisted the damned Stanley Cup! This guy is not that great that we want to know ever last detail about him day in and day out.

Now he's out again with more concussion symptoms after running into his own teammate. I guess now it's back to the "seriousness of head injuries in the NHL" media shit again... It would be so much better if he just took the year off and called it a day. MAYBE then we could get on with the NHL? You know, the other 600+ people that are out their busting their asses hoping to got a chance to lift the Cup?

...There. Now I feel better.

I think Crosby is a good player, but that is just wacko.

This :stupid:

He is a good player, but way to much media attention.

I guess that is why I spend all my time on nhl.com where you can check out more about YOUR team and not just about Crosby.

That said, the commercial they made a year or so ago with a young Crosby watching Gretzky then growing up to play for the Penguins ending with another young kid watching him was an awesome commercial!

...GO STARS!

^THIS^

Im not a true Crosby fan but I think we can all agree that the game desperately needs him on the ice. We are lucky the NBA was locked out for so long that there actually was some highlights on SportsCenter (after even the worst college basketball match-ups). When the NBA season resumes on Christmas say bye bye to the little highlights that we do get.

I just hope he is able to recover fully and can play again.

And at least we have NHL Overtime on Versus...
