i guess maybe i have. it's still a couple months from official release. i haven't really paid much attention to camaro news...as the mustang has been the CLEAR winner of the three-way domestic showdown by a considerable margin.

LOL, I tend to agree..
The only GM car I would buy is a CTS-V, at least you don't see those every other car on the road.

no, but you see CTS's as every-other car on the road. the ZL1 is to the camaro as the CTS-V is to the CTS. and hell, it's even got nearly the same powerplant.

I actually don't ever see CTS around here, or much on the road. However, if I go to the store there is guaranteed to be at least three new Camaros and ten mustangs... and I live in a small town.
ZL1 or not, it is still a Camaro.

Damn, I'm glad I don't see those everyday or the Challenger might go bye-bye. Not a fan of gold rims though, but still wouldn't stop me from drooling on it.

So, how do those work? I assume they're like old school knock-offs?

I get to drive a CTS-V about once a week or so.. Love them and eventually want one. Those rims on that one look stupid. Tell him to put the black rims back on it.

Think center-hub. Like NASCAR. They do have NASCAR in WV right?

Those are not true single pin design wheels. Those require an adapter from the looks of it which bolt to the stock hub.

Actually I thought the same thing too, maybe it is the pictures or the color of the car... but I have always like the sedans better.

My buddy is the finance manager at a local GM/Caddy store. They have a coupe and a sedan side by side. There's just no contest. The ass of the coupe appears an after thought. It just doesn't work, for me.
I want one so bad!! :MikeB:

:Smacks you in the head:
You're from North Carolina and don't even know NASCAR uses 5 lugnuts?
As as for the CTS-V conversation, I'll take one of each. And no, even CTS's are not a common car.

There are more CTS's here than there are particles of air. You can't turn a corner without seeing one.

GM makes it a point for these cars to be bone dead stock. Why list weight/HP there when you just look up the stock numbers? In the case of this particular car, I'm wondering of they removed those few interior parts to make the difference of the roll case weight? Crazy thought, but maybe?
Jeremy - Solidarity! Down with the Butt-ass ugly Coupe! Gimme the sedan any day. :D
Part of the reason the new Mustang GT500 has such balls is due to Ford having to find a way to compete with the Camaro. Since release The Camaro sales have beaten Mustang sales in all but 1 or 2 months since I last looked. Personally, I think it's kind of sad that the Mustang isn't selling better as I think it's a better car all around. It's lighter, turns better, is much cheaper, and not terribly bad looking.

they only listed the hp 558/580 and 0 for the weight
its not a 100% stock production model (+rollcage(nothing unusual tho), increases structual ridigity) as you can see by its bare-metal roof/partially stripped interior etc.. its a prototype/testvehicle.
