Well, let's face it, The "ATX category" will consist of NA cars 99% of the time. If a TT that was converted to ATX would enter, it's pretty much guaranteed to win. Same rule with RHD, there's only a handful of them. There should be some legitimate competition for each month, narrowing it down too much almost guarantees the win for a couple people on this site who drive "unique or unusual" cars.

i wholeheartedly disagree on the idea that there are just as many atx's around as there are RHD's around. RHD only month pretty much means that you're either an aussie, you've imported, or you converted--that's an extremely narrow field.

there's a LOT more autos around than that; and when i stop seeing threads about "how do i convert to MTX", maybe i'll concede the point--but for now, it's certainly not even a remotely close comparison. personally, i think the stigma perpetrated by the elitist owners is what has done the most harm for the n/a's; and extremely damaged the legitimacy of a viable and quite capable transmission. (as handily demonstrated by the DSM community).

you want an apples-to-apples comparison? "RHD-only" month makes about as much sense as "AWD-converted-only" month. you'd have a nearly identical pool of eligible participants. this ain't fucking japan, and unlike damn near every other cosmetic mod someone can do to a 3/s--a RHD conversion here in the lower-48 is nothing but pure rice. are we gonna have a "most-mad-tyte-jdm-shit-yo" month too?
