Car of the Month categories for 2012??!!

Hey guys! It's almost 2012 and I wanted to see what you guys thought of 2011 COTM categories. Do you have any suggestions for 2012 categories? Do you like the list we used for 2011?

Nov - all 3/S/GTO WINNER :: green-lantern!
Dec - FWD WINNER :: Maximal!
Jan - 1st gen WINNER :: bslade!
Feb - all 3/S/GTO WINNER :: Sin'sVr4!
March - non 3/S/GTO WINNER :: Pezcore!
April - AWD WINNER :: sixsixfour!
May - spyder WINNER :: Jimvr4!
June - all 3/S/GTO WINNER :: 93STLTH!
July - 2nd gen WINNER :: The Linchpin!

1.) Custom paint scheme or non oem color

2.) 10 second car or faster.

3.) Stoker 3.4L or larger

4.) Non OEM body kit. (I prefer OEM like most of us but it helps give them a chance to win)

5.) staggered wheels

6.) non tdo4 turbo 3s

7.) single turbo month

I could go on but lets see where this goes. Also I think we should remove th non 3s month. This is a 3s site you know.

record-holders only (have to own some type of drag/dyno record for the platform [eg. 15g dyno record, 14b 1/4 et, etc])

i don't even recognize it any more (most heavily modified from stock form)

p.s.
not a fan of a month for staggered wheels; seems like a way-too easy category on a platform that isn't supposed to run staggered wheels anyway.

Limit it to:

top 3 from NG auto-x all classes
top 3 from NG drag all classes
received any type of award issued from the NG Auto show.

And not limit it to a specific year, but include all NG participants.

i dunno about including top 3 from NG. sadly, there are times when there's only three people competing in certain classes at NG. maybe the winners. there's enough LEGIT record holders out there. imho, it should be limited to drivetrain, transmission, displacement, turbo, and pump/race gas--as the only differentiating factors. 16g 3.0L pump gas dyno record is different from 16g 3.0L race-gas/e85 dyno record, is different from 16g 3.5L pump gas dyno record, etc.

granted, it's just an idea. there's a lot of BS flying around with uncorrected vs. corrected--so there could be potential issues with it. personally, i'd rather stick to drag record holders (in the same differentiating categories, but also to include tires as a factor). mad props to anyone who runs 10's on all-seasons. :D
