100 posts per page would add a lot to the work required to create a page. Yes, you'll have less pages but most of the time you wont read all of the 100 that are shown.

I'll think about bumping it a bit maybe 50 or 60.

40 is perfect in my opinion. When there was a huge post per page option on 3si I thought I'd like it too, but having to scroll through a shitton of posts to find one I wanted to quote is annoying. You guys are more than welcome to want more, but whatevs.

yeah i dont think most people don't even know you can change the posts per page

if anything we should have something that blocks 5000x7000 images from being posted...now that is annoying

While someone can post a huge image the forum will resize it to a manageable size
