Im selling the hood only because i wont be using it, its still pretty much mint on the outside. It is drilled for hoodpins already and will include a full new set.

The inside has been cut out to save weight, but I left enough around the edges to make sure it could support itself, and be still be safe. I think it actually looks better this way. The stock hood was 52, this was 26 to start with and cutting out the middle dropped another 8 pounds so its around 18 pounds right now.

It is one of the best fitting CF hoods i have installed to date, matched up to lines of the body almost perfectly.

Im not really set on a price for it so i'll just say $500 feel free to make offers of what you think its worth. I have no problem with shipping it if needed, i can get a rough quote for anyone thats interested.

I might be selling the CF hatch with lexan window as well so let me know if you want that to.

Such a beautiful car, shame to see it dismantled but I do know you'll have it bad ass when reincarnated into a 4 wheel tire burning monster.

Ok since there is so much interest in the hatch i guess its time i post some details about it.

It is a real VIS Racing hatch and well worth the money like the hood, It is also cut on the inside, like the hood, but still very solid structuraly. It has a Percy's Speedglass 1/8'' thick window. Inside was painted with a black primer around the edge to appear like a factory window, and give a cleaner look. The window is glued in along with rivets all the way around so there is no chance of the window blowing out. The hatch just like the hood was held on by the stock hinges, and pins instead of the latch to save weight, plus i think it looked badass that way.

This brings me to the only flaw on it. When i was painting the edge of the window i poured some of the paint into a small jar that could fit the brush inside of it. As i began i didnt realize that the bottom of it was melting out and dripping paint onto the masking paper i had over the center of the window, as soon as i realized this it was already to late, some of the chemicals soaked right through the paper and etched the inside of the window in a small area. It is on the driverside lower corner, you can see it s a little cloudy there.

My plan was to drill out the rivets and put tint over the outside of the window, and then put in a fresh set of polished rivets. The other option is to sand and polish the window in that spot to blend it in. It is not the the most obvious thing when you look at it outside, but its there and i need to mention that. This is the worst picture of it I could find to show what i mean, its there but it is very fixable.

So onto pricing...

Our Fedex rep should be stopping by today and setting up our freight account properly, so i will have an idea what it will cost to ship hopefully later this afternoon.

I paid about $2500 shipped to get all 3 items shipped to my door, plus the time to trim and fit the window and install it. Obviously being used I expect no where near that price, but im not going to let them go for nothing, as i have no problem reusing them. Shipping will probably be expensive for them, im guessing around $200 right now to ship the pair so Ill just start at $1700 shipped for the hood and trunk together.

Like i said up top, they are only worth what someones willing to pay, im just putting a number out there to start with, i will leave it up to whatever you are willing to pay, so feel free to make your offer and i'll let you know what i can do. Any questions feel free to ask.

That is a damn good price for the hood and hatch.

I would throw you out an offer but I just had to dump $1,500 into a complicated situation. Hopefully when I get paid again you still have it and I can make you an offer.

Damn, I have been wanting one of those hatches for awhile now haha.
