This is a thread about my pick-up truck that I bought in 09... this is my very first pick-up so it was huge for me at first and that is why i didn't go with f-450 (which i regret now a lot)... i bought it to tow my enclosed trailed so I can transport all my 3000GTs... :p

I don't really dig the brown leather, but in the trim i wanted it, it only comes in this color... oh well...

I don't like wood trim at all so I decided to get rid of it... also the front arm rests are covered in real leather and the rear ones are just plastic, so decided to fix that as well!

So I decided to do the CF vinyl wrap over all the pieces...

as 2010 rolled around, new trucks had a very nice option... sliding rear window with a defroster (09s did not come with that option... either a solid with defrost or sliding w/o)... so I decided to replace the window!

So i wasn't thrilled by this cf vinyl so i painted panels "piano black".
Drive a lot at night with a trailer so decided to get a night vision camera installed for safety purposes. Same thing for grill lights.
And rear entertainment systems went in... which sucks btw so i'll be re-doing it in a near future.

soon after that i got my light bar installed so if i am loading/unloading on the side of the road so i don't get run over)) also strobes in headlights/tail lights. all white and amber.

i want the monitor upfront to link with the rear system so i can play ps3 from upfront as well and with the current i can't, can only do it from upfront and the rear one is self contained. and it also came with its own head rest which are not that great

Haven't really seen a lot of 5.4 supercharged trucks outside of the Lightning. What are you doing with the old engine? Would love to stick a 5.4 3 valve in my F-150, it would haul ass! Props to you, it will be a lot of fun, but at this point, I would consider a new driveshaft for the power you are expecting to make. The stock driveshaft, will be done. Also I would change your rear end as well, something more manageable because this engine setup will decimate the stock rear end (depending what it is, but most rear ends were made for fuel economy). Other than that, 90 Degree Engines FTW!

Damn those welds are clean.

That said, I'm not impressed with the tank design. Looking at the picture of the internals it appears there will be significant flow separation near the runner inlets as the corners of the tank impede the flow at the top. They should have angled the sides outward to compensate.
